Utilising a single, cleverly designed strut and designed to work in with the factory torsion bar; the ARB Tailgate Assist for the 23+ VW Amarok safely controls the opening speed and reduces the closing effort of the tailgate. Offering simple, one-handed operation, the Tailgate Assist transforms the quality feel of the vehicle - every time you operate it.

The MY23+ Amarok Tailgate Assist kit (4770030) is also suitable for MY23+ built Ford Ranger vehicles fitted with an OE ball stud on the driver’s side of the tailgate. While the standard MY22+ Ford Ranger Tailgate assist kits (4740060 & 4740070) are recommended for vehicles supplied from factory without this ball stud present.
Due to the variability seen in vehicle supply, it is recommended to stock both variants to ensure vehicle compatibility.
